In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference; their passport/identity card/driving license and a valid credit or debit card which will be swiped in the presence of the card holder. If guests are traveling from outside the UK, Ireland or any country in the Commonwealth we are also obliged by law to require guests to provide the number and place of issue of your passport/identity card and details of their next destination. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. The information above may be requested for each member of your party over the age of 18 and we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above. Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, Guests may check-in at any time from 3.00 pm. on the scheduled day of arrival. All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 11:59 pm on the scheduled date of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Hotel. Any non-guaranteed reservation will be held until 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival at which time we will be entitled to re-let the room, unless the guest has notified the hotel of a late arrival. On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 12.00 noon (unless a later departure is stated as part of your Booking). Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of the Hotel. Pets are not allowed in the hotel. Service animals that provide assistance to individuals with disabilities are allowed at the hotel, they are not subject to the policies and restrictions that apply to other pets or animals.
Bookings are only confirmed upon providing valid credit/debit card details. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, valid until the date of departure from the hotel. The credit/debit card details will be used to guarantee your booking. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the card for the first night 48 hours prior to arrival to secure the reservation.
If the card is declined, the hotel will attempt to contact the guest and reserves the right to cancel the booking if a valid alternative card is not provided. Bookings cannot be guaranteed without valid credit/debit card details. Full payment is required upon check-in.
An incidental/damage deposit of £50 per day is required upon arrival. This will be collected via credit/debit card and will be released upon check-out in full, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note, the pre-authorisation may take 7-14 business days or more to reflect back into your account, depending on your card issuing bank.
Completing the reservation form does not confirm your booking. You will receive a booking confirmation email from The LaLiT London, along with a booking reference number. We will not be responsible for any arrivals at the hotel without a confirmed booking reference number.

The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked. Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking.
For rates marked as “Best Available Rate” - Cancelling your reservation 24 hours prior to arrival before 2:00 pm will result in no charge. Cancelling your reservation after the deadline, or non-arrival will result in a charge of one night per room to your credit card.
For rates marked “Advance Purchase” - We require full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the Booking and this is non-refundable and the Booking non-changeable. Prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking. Cancellation or non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment.
For Advance purchase rates the card you booked with must be presented on arrival, if the same card is not presented an alternative card will be requested to settle the payment, with an appropriate ID. Advance purchase is a non-refundable and non-amendable rate. In the event of cancellation or non-arrival, we will charge the full amount of the tariff specified.
Very occasionally we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will however use reasonable endeavors to try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to the Hotel.
Your booking is for a class of room in the Hotel and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room or in the same room for the duration of your stay. If we need to move you to a different room during your booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates.
If you are interested in hosting an event, please coordinate with our catering manager to arrange the event in a private function room. Alcohol must be purchased through the hotel, and the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors or individuals without proper identification.
In accordance with UK law, any illegal drug activity on hotel premises is strictly prohibited. Individuals found engaging in such activities will be reported to the authorities and may face legal action, including immediate removal from the premises without any refund.
This is a non-smoking hotel, and smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel premises. A charge of £250 will be applied if smoking is detected in any room or public area within the hotel. It may result in immediate removal from the premises without any refund.
Visitors are permitted to stay in guest rooms until 9:00 PM. The hotel reserves the right to limit or deny visitor access at its discretion for safety and security reasons.
To maintain the decorum of the hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, we ask that you adhere to hotel policies, including refraining from playing loud music or engaging in disruptive behaviour. For the safety of all, the hotel reserves the right to take appropriate action, including requesting guests to vacate the premises if necessary. The premises are monitored by CCTV for security purposes. In the event of suspected activity, the duty manager or a security officer reserves the right to access the room, even if the "Do Not Disturb" status is activated.
In consideration of the receipt and storage of property for which this check is issued, the hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to said property, whether resulting from ordinary or gross negligence, or otherwise, except where such loss or damage is caused by the wilful act of the hotel. If the property is not claimed, the hotel may sell the item without notice. The hotel is authorised to release the property to any person presenting this check, even without identification. After check-out and pre-check-in, we offer luggage storage for the particular day only. Should any guest wish to leave their luggage with the property beyond this period, this will be subject to availability.
Lost and found items will be stored for a period of 30 days. If not claimed within this time, the items will be discarded. For health and safety reasons, we do not store food or medicines, and these will be disposed of the following day.
